Anthony Joshua prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight round match which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "dominate completely" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the two fighters met personally to promote next month's bout.
Former twice world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami venue on 19 December.
Boxer's Mentality
"I'm going to injure his face and break his body up. I'm here to prove my superiority," Joshua, 35 years old, said.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I will genuinely try to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of those words, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - usually famous for his showmanship - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul instead attacked former Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian turned down a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, criticized UK rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Joshua refused to speak negatively about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He lost to British fighter Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
However, the novice is still one of the sport's biggest financial successes, regularly earning substantial financial rewards.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old anticipated a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would stop the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly under discussion for two years from now.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.
Size Difference
As both boxers engaged in the customary face-off, with their size difference on show, it drove home just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the match is really going ahead.
